I managed to leave my laptop in Australia when I went home to family in New Zealand for the holidays.

Back now ready to finish off PvP… oh how sweet it will be.

Hey guys, over the next few days we are having our christmas blits. As the first night of the three I have released 14 new Maps. From these all unevolved pokemon (excluding legendaries) can be caught.
The maps are Route 14 - Route 27, plus a few towns etc.
PvP is in the works.

Over the next few days we will also be releasing a bunch of new Pokemon, some of these are Mods others are completely new. - Stay Tuned.

Just another quick update on PBA progress.

This weeks Changes:

• Added Routes 11,12 and Dynamo City
• Updated Berry, Credits and Money Finding System (for walking around)
• Many Many Speed Updates (Changing SELECT * to SELECT {individual Fields})
• PvP Basics (Almost done!)

• Have added the Lotto Shop
• Have added Route 11
• Have added all remaining Kanto Gym Leaders
• Working on Pokemon Exchange (PokEX)
• Working on the Berry Growing System now.

Trading is now active,

You can now trade by clicking on users on either a Map or at a house.

The requests appear in the top left hand corner with friend requests and mail messages.

Another few updates for PBA:

• Users can trade credits for Elemental Maps (Maps with every pokemon of a Type)
• New Elemental Maps (Bug, Rock, Ground, Normal, Grass and Fire)
• Players can Buy a House (More details below)
• Users can donate to help us pay for servers

Ok so about these houses!

Players can now Buy a house which them and their friends can walk around in the front yard of, The owner and their friends can release their pokemon in the front yard makeing that Pokemon ‘encounterable’ in that persons yard. the more of a type of Pokemon is released, the better chance of seeing it again. These Pokemon that are encountered take on certain attributes from the released Pokemon (Like Levels, IV’s, Chance of Being Shiny and Gender).

So what are you waiting for, Buy a house and start farming Rare High Level Pokemon.

Lots have been happening. Sorry PWO I’ll be there soon. PBA still needs me!

In the last week:

1) PM system is working (no longer constantly refreshing)
2) Friends system is up and running (you will be able to reject ppl soon)
3) Uploads system has been put in place so we can all contribute Pokemon and Ideas
4) You recieve a credit every day that you login
5) On occasion you can recieve credits or money while just wandering around
(hint: the amount you recieve is doubled if the first pokemon in your party is lucky )
6) We have added Route 7, Stargate City & 8 (Special thanks to Alrefai who made them)
7) I have released More Maps (Route 9, 10 and Garden Caves Lvl 1)
Profiles can now have a gallery that only your friends can see.
9) You can now buy elemental maps where you have a chance of catching any pokemon of that element.
10) Pokemon now have Genders and have appropriate images as per the Diamond/Pearl Series.
11) Shiny Pokemon are enabled and are catchable at a 1/500 chance.
12) I have added a second Mirror to the game just in case we get a high load of users the game should run very fast still.

 Well, All thats left after this is the usage of advanced items along with Trading and PvP Battles.

I’m also toying with the idea of putting Breeding in PBA, We’ll see how it goes.

Well just thought I’d give an update on progress so far.

Last night I’ve added in:

• Player Profiles - (not yet customizable)
• PBA Pokedex (so you can see where to catch your fav pokemon)
• Extra Search Functionality - so you can see Pokemon Locations and Player Locations
• Map: Route 5
• Map: Seekers Passage

Tommorrow I will add the Friends System, Trades and the Auction House.

Hello everyone I’m back.

Sorry for such a long delay, I have been so busy with my new job. So much has been happening. Firstly I want to thank the team at PWO for keeping the ball rolling in terms of continual updates and upbeat customer service while I have been gone.

Also I think it wise to end certain rumors of me being either in Rehab or Prison, Which I find completely absurd.

Now on with the updates!

I have just spent 3 days working on PBA which is like a completely different game now. Why??? Because it is!! I have recreated the navigation system and Maps along with the whole server. for those who loved the old version you can find it here (http://www.oldpokemonbattlearena.net). But for those who want to hear about the new version. I will be spending another week and a half on it and intend to have the following things:

• Full PvP support
• Double Battling
• 12 Elemental Areas (Rock, Water, Ice, Fire etc)
• Trainer Challenges (to unlock the areas)
• A whole region to explore.
• Trainer Profiles.

Now for those of you that play PWO that really dont care, I will be onsite and ready to work in a week and a halfs time to fix all outstanding issues on PWO. Plus we are planning some special little updates for you. So get ready nothing will ever be the same again.
